The Teton Range one of the most recognizable mountain ranges in the world. They are also the youngest range in the Rockies and the focal point of Grand Teton National Park. Its prominent peaks jutting some 7,000 feet into the sky from the surrounding valley. The Teton Range extends for 40 miles
across northwestern Wyoming, from the southern boundary of Yellowstone National Park to Teton Pass, just west of Jackson. Many peaks exceed 12,000 feet with Grand Teton peak reaching 13,770 feet, it is the highest point, towering more than 7,000 feet above Jackson Hole.
