A magnificent view of the Milky Way galaxy spread over large sandstone fins. The fins extend back along the surface of the earth, looking like spines along the back of an enormous ancient creature. The Milky Way follows the angle of the fins, guiding the eye across the photo to the blue light that is the planet Jupiter. The trees along the base of the fins give us a sense of the scale of these huge formations of rock. Somehow this grand scale seems to match perfectly the scale of the galaxy in the background. This is truly a piece that makes you marvel at the majesty of the universe. This piece would be fantastic framed on fine art paper.
